The nuts and bolts of issuing residential solar hot water system permits. A must for municipal provincial and national building officials, standards development officials, solar agencies, environmental agencies, home inspectors, energy auditors and solar professionals. |
With interest in residential renewable energy systems exploding, building officials, contractors and regulators are all grappling with how to support safe, professional system installations. This series of events is designed to share the knowledge gained through the Solar Neighbourhoods Pilot Project — the largest single-city residential solar hot water installation in Canada. Webinars, seminars and workshops will be led by Rob McMonagle, former executive director of the Canadian Solar Industries Association, member of the Ontario Solar Task Force, and a key contributor to the design of the City of Toronto’s residential solar permitting system.
