Solar Permits Workshops
This workshop reviewed Toronto Building’s inspection requirements for solar water heaters for the benefit of Toronto Building Inspectors who are responsible for field inspections. As part of the workshop there was an overview of SDHW technologies, including the different types of systems and SDHW installation best practices.
Workshops were delivered by Rob McMonagle, former executive director of the Canadian Solar Industries Association, member of the Ontario Solar Task Force, and a key contributor to the design of the City of Toronto’s residential solar permitting system.
